I create music that pays particular attention to sound and listening, exploring the tension between structure and the unexpected. As an accordionist, I improvise almost exclusively, investigating sonic territories ranging from minimalism close to raw physicality. As a composer, I create pieces for ensembles and interdisciplinary performances, conceived in close connection with the places and people involved.
I am passionate about the musical flow that crosses disciplines and contexts. My work seeks to capture this movement, giving rise to ephemeral, sensitive, and poetic forms in which unpredictability lies at the core of the process. I value the performers’ active involvement, embracing a collective and participatory approach.Â
Creating thus becomes a political act: a way of proposing other modes of listening, acting, and living together. My work is rooted in reality, claiming attention as radicalism, and poetry as a space of freedom.
