Things in Common is a striking exploration of the interaction between sound, space and the presence of musicians. The musicians act as focal points in the space, generating sounds, moving or remaining still. They use sound as a dynamic element to explore space, distance and time. Through meticulous repetitions of a simple material, minute variations and complex sound interactions, the performance gradually and delicately takes listeners on a singular journey of
time and sound.

"The concert really immersed me in its special physicality. In the first few minutes, I tried to understand and categorise the stage and sound events. Without realising it, however, I very quickly found myself in a completely different state: away from the mental and towards an unusually differentiated physical perception. The refined interplay between the musicians and their attentive handling of the room's acoustics enabled me to experience a kind of "expanded hearing". Sometimes I thought I could feel the sounds rather than hear them with my ear. The music created a framework that allowed me this openness. The musicians were highly present, their charisma full of warmth and confidence. I was able to let every sound get closer and closer to me. They conveyed a precise, clear orientation at every moment, without creating a feeling of rigour or rigid order. Perhaps one could say that this composition of sound, space and silence in his art gave me a dimension that I found completely natural and yet quite extraordinary. Thank you." Natalie Peters, 2024
